Steve joined Bradford Allen in 2025 as the Executive Director of Development, bringing more than 35 years of experience in hospitality, with the last decade focused on the development and adaptive reuse of buildings into upscale, luxury hotels.

Prior to joining the firm, Steve served as the Director of Construction for Chicago-based Maverick Hotels & Restaurants, where he led the redevelopment of the Hyatt Centric Hotel in Rosemont, IL, on behalf of Bradford Allen. During his 24-year tenure with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Steve served as the Area Director of Facilities. There, he played a key role in creating and implementing initiatives such as volume purchasing programs with Buy Efficient and Avendra, developing five-year capital cost plans, managing renovation budgets, and overseeing construction projects across the Midwest hotel and restaurant portfolio.

Known for his integrity, honesty, and thoughtfulness, Steve has earned deep respect from peers and partners alike. His reputation within the construction community has allowed him to consistently collaborate with top talent in the industry.

A lifelong Chicago resident, Steve’s passion in the culinary world has led him to becoming a certified wine expert only to be complimented by his love of cooking and barbequing for his friends and family. Steve also enjoys his days off cheering on the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears during their seasons.
