James joined Bradford Allen in the spring of 2022 as an analyst specializing in financial modeling for equity and debt investments across multifamily, hospitality, and office asset classes. James now exclusively focuses on multifamily acquisitions, asset management, and development.

Prior to joining Bradford Allen, James held roles in corporate finance and investments at a large insurance provider, business planning and strategy at a multinational grocer, and interned at a middle-market investment bank throughout college.

James graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago with a BA in economics. In 2022, he founded UIC’s first endowed real estate scholarship fund, which recognizes undergraduate students in UIC’s College of Real Estate who demonstrate community leadership, academic excellence, and a genuine passion for the real estate industry. In 2025, James became the youngest active advisory board member within UIC’s Department of Real Estate.
