JASON GOLD

Jason joined the firm’s New York City office in 2021, where he focuses on deal sourcing, acquisitions, business development, and valuations.

With more than 18 years in the industry, Jason has expertise across many segments and geographies. Most recently, he worked on institutional investment sales teams at Colliers and JLL, and his real estate valuation skills—including over $14 billion in closed transactions—add deep experience to the Bradford Allen team.

Jason graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

 

JOHN BUTLER

John Butler joined BA Investment Advisors as an executive managing director in 2016 to lead Bradford Allen’s new acquisitions department. With more than twenty-five years of industry experience, John brings extensive knowledge of the commercial acquisitions process to the role along with a proven track record for success.

Throughout his esteemed career, John has been directly involved in acquiring over $2 billion dollars of real estate. He has experience handling a variety of product types such as commercial office space, industrial and medical offices, retail, and multi-family and senior housing. Prior to joining BA Investment Advisors, he held senior investment roles at Next Realty, ORIX Real Estate Capital, Broe Real Estate, and General Growth Properties over his career. John also served as a Principal with ForeFront Properties in Chicago, Illinois.

With John’s experience and dedication to BA Investment Advisors’ mission and values, he is an invaluable asset to the firm. John attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he earned a bachelor’s in accounting and finance.

CHUCK HOAG

Chuck joined Bradford Allen in 2014, bringing over thirty years’ experience as a banker, broker, and advisor to commercial investors across all asset types. As part of Bradford Allen Investment Advisors, he directs real estate finance strategy, advising on development projects, transactions, and other investment opportunities, as well as assessing risks and opportunities at the portfolio level.

Chuck began his career as a commercial lender with the Royal Bank of Canada and CIB Bank in Chicago. He then spent a decade working at two of the largest commercial real estate services companies. At JLL, as senior vice president in capital markets, he handled debt and equity placements for both public and private institutional investors’ developers and opportunity funds. Then as managing director for Cushman & Wakefield’s Equity, Debt and Structured Finance Group, he led the firm’s practice in the Central Region (Chicago, Dallas, and Houston).

Chuck holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in economics from Northwestern University. He lives in Old Town, and his interests include his two sons, tennis, cycling, alpine skiing, and reading.

 

AGHFAR ARUN

Aghfar joined Bradford Allen in August 2022 to lead the firm’s hospitality group. In this capacity, he actively manages the existing hotel portfolio and oversees lodging acquisition and development strategy. With eight years of experience as an investment sales hotel broker, Aghfar specializes in institutional-quality and value-add hotel assets.

Prior to joining Bradford Allen, Aghfar served as a vice president for Hodges Ward Elliott’s select service/portfolio investment sales group in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he managed sales execution, transaction management, and financial analysis, while directly facilitating deals worth over $100 million. Overall, he was involved in investment sales and refinancing assignments totaling more than $1 billion.

Aghfar graduated cum laude from Georgia State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in managerial sciences and finance. He was raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, and now resides in Chicago’s South Loop with his wife, Ayesha, and their mini Goldendoodle, Yayo. Outside of work, Aghfar enjoys traveling, cooking, boxing, and hiking.

 

TOM O’REILLY

Tom works closely with the acquisition and debt origination teams to provide ARGUS evaluation modeling, underwriting, and analyses; to originate mortgage, mezzanine and preferred equity financing for Bradford Allen’s investment fund; and to place debt for Bradford Allen’s real estate portfolio.

Tom’s responsibilities also include analyzing potential leases and assessing the financial impact on an investment, managing and evaluating both property-level and investment performance, and completing detailed quarterly financial statement analyses. He supports the acquisition and debt origination teams in researching and analyzing potential investments, modeling capital structures, and closing transactions.

Prior to joining Bradford Allen Capital, Tom worked as an Investment Analyst at Mid-America Real Estate Group. He was responsible for detailed financial underwriting and proformas, preparation of offering memoranda, evaluation of due diligence materials, and market research. Tom also interned at Draper and Kramer with their Commercial Mortgage group.

Tom graduated from the University of Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He currently lives in Old Town after growing up in the western suburbs. Outside of the office, he enjoys following his favorite sports teams (Michigan football and basketball, along with the Chicago Bulls and White Sox), traveling the US and Europe, and discovering new bars and restaurants with friends in the city.

 

MATIAS ROSENBERG

Matty joined Bradford Allen in 2025 and oversees hotel investments. He brings nearly 20 years of professional experience, nine of which have been in real estate investments. Matty has worked throughout the investment lifecycle of various asset classes including hospitality, student housing, multifamily, and retail. At Bradford Allen, he is responsible for the asset management of existing investments and growth of the platform through acquisitions. Matty is passionate about hospitality services and enjoys finding new ways to improve complex operations, unlocking property value, and creating better customer experiences.

Before joining Bradford Allen, Matty spent five years working at Phoenix Development Partners. There, he focused on asset management and led hotel acquisitions — including managing a $160M, 350-key hotel, sourcing and completing a $100M refinance deal, and opening a celebrity-chef run rooftop restaurant. Prior to that, Matty built his asset management and ground-up development experience at firms such as Starwood, managing a portfolio of nine retail assets valued at more than $1.5B, as well as The Scion Group, where he helped manage a portfolio of 90 student housing properties valued at more than $3.5B.

Matty graduated from Vanderbilt University and spent eight years working in strategy consulting before receiving a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and later switching to a career in real estate.

Matty now lives in Wilmette, Illinois with his wife and two sons. When not spending time with his kids, Matty enjoys golf, cooking, and taking annual trips to Chile to visit his extended family.

 

BRYAN WILLIAMS

Bryan joined Bradford Allen in June 2024 and brings with him more than 13 years of direct experience in the hotel industry ranging from on-property operations and revenue management to ownership and asset management. Leveraging his diverse experience, Bryan is responsible for interfacing with stakeholders at all levels to ensure that each of the firm’s hospitality assets is optimized and meets strategic objectives and investor goals, as well as supports the firm’s overall hospitality asset strategy.

Before joining Bradford Allen, Bryan served as a director of asset management for Tishman. During his seven years with Tishman, he oversaw and/or supported the asset management of the firm’s hotel portfolio of varying management structures, service levels, and sizes ranging from 100 to more than 1,200 keys in addition to supporting the firm’s acquisitions and new development efforts. Prior to that, he served in several on-property management roles in both front office and revenue management, where his implementation of successful profit improvement, revenue generation, and guest service initiatives caught the attention of the hotel’s asset management and ownership group: Tishman.

Bryan received a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida. In his free time, he enjoys (attempting) to play guitar and relaxing with his wife, Jill, and their dog, Tommy.

 

JESSICA HINDI

With a nuanced understanding of contract law, Jessica expertly collaborates with outside counsel to navigate complex legal landscapes, fostering strategic partnerships and driving legal excellence.

Jessica’s background in legal project management includes expertise in negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder collaboration. At DISH Wireless LLC, she oversaw successful nationwide launches and a merger, and developed the legal operations department. Her experience also includes work at the International Institute of Wisconsin and the City of Milwaukee, where she contributed to initiatives like the Milwaukee Streetcar project. Additionally, she has worked at Marquette Law School and volunteered at a pro bono clinic.

Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in law and psychology from Marquette University and a certification in contract management from UCLA. She is currently pursuing an MBA to further bridge the gap between legal and business affairs.

Originally from California, Jessica grew up in Orange County. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, exploring new restaurants, visiting art studios, and kickboxing.

 

CONNOR PHELAN

Connor Phelan joined BA in 2022 and currently serves as director, hospitality. He is responsible for hospitality acquisitions and the development of new hotel assets across the firm’s portfolio, including market selection, underwriting, and transaction execution. His role also includes executing food and beverage concepts that complement each asset’s positioning.

Previously, Connor served as director, research, where he focused on analyzing markets to identify acquisition targets and long-term growth opportunities. He led market research, maintained firmwide market data, and delivered actionable insights to support investment decisions.

Prior to joining BA, Connor worked at DBRS Morningstar as a financial analyst in the commercial mortgage-backed securities group, where he analyzed the creditworthiness of CMBS transactions.

Connor graduated from the University of Chicago in 2020 with a degree in public policy, where he played football. He grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

 

CJ CASCINO

CJ joined Bradford Allen in 2024 as a member of the real estate finance team. His responsibilities include evaluating financial strategies and analyzing potential developments and transactions, as well as assessing risks and opportunities across the portfolio.

Prior to joining Bradford Allen, CJ worked as a valuations associate at Revantage, where he was responsible for financial reporting of over $20 billion of Blackstone’s real estate portfolio. He specialized in both student and manufactured housing.

A native of the Chicago suburbs, CJ grew up in Barrington, Illinois. He majored in finance with a minor in computer science at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. CJ is an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and other main interests include golf, cars, and traveling.

 

ABIGAIL WURFEL

 

SAM DUBBE

Sam joined Bradford Allen in 2026 as an investment analyst, working with the acquisitions and development teams. His primary responsibilities include underwriting and analyzing real estate investment opportunities, as well as providing analytical support for market research, property financials, and leasing activity.

Before joining Bradford Allen, Sam worked as a financial associate at Heitman, focusing on valuations and financial reporting for the firm’s global fund.

Sam graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2024 with a degree in finance and a minor in accounting.
